We met up with a friend at Chotto (http://www.chottosf.com/) and had a great izayaki-style dinner.
We ordered an abundance of tapas items (kamo, gyu, kara-age) and also some sushi (ankimo, tuna) as well. Let’s also not forget the pitcher of beer (Sapporo)! I would have to say the yasai (grilled vegetables) and gyu (rib-eye) were the highlights.
I think we are still trying to find a place like Robata-ya in West LA (Sawtelle area) in SF. I hope we find it but Chotto is definitely close!
